I can read all the books and watch all the videos to train my pup but would never get the valuable one on one knowledge I.B. K9 had given me. They have taught me so much and have given me many pointers on how to help my puppy be well behaved. I chose to do training at their facility to eliminate the distractions of the other dogs at home. After a few classes I had some frustrations because my puppy continued to bark on walks and I was getting no where with him. I.B. K9 came to my house to see what I was facing and showed me how to teach my dog so that we both had no frustrations. They also recently reached out and scheduled a maintenance schedule to see how he was doing in his training. We were able to work on a few areas during that session and I of course learned even more knowledge of how to better train and help my dog learn at no additional cost to me. They are always available by text or phone call if I have questions. Are there things I could have learned from the videos? Yes and there are a few things I had learned before going but watching them work with my dog and learning hands on has been much more valuable and I have been able to control and teach in various situations. I.B.K9 is amazing! Mia, our 2.5 year old GSD, had a habit of barging out the door and jumping up on people. Instead of waiting for something bad to happen that could result in our losing Mia, we decided she needed training to correct this behavior. After interviewing two other trainers over the phone, I contacted Jason. He suggested he come over to our home to meet Mia and the family. Jason and Jeremy arrived at our house. I, along with my wife and daughter visited with them for about 45 minutes while Mia was behaving poorly in her crate. When it came time to meet Mia, I opened her crate and expected her to run and jump at Jason. Well, she did run at him, however he understands dogs so well, that he had Mia sitting in front of him immediately. I was impressed, and we knew we found the trainer for Mia. We opted for the Advanced Board and Train Program. Mia spent time at Jason's home, as part of his family which allowed him to work with Mia rather extensively. When Mia returned home, she is a well behave family member. The most important training that Jason provided is the training WE received. Jason worked with and taught us, how to be better family members for Mia, so that Mia will want to listen to and take commands from us. I now know how to better communicate with Mia, and I am grateful for that education and the willingness Jason had to teach us, as well as Mia. We can walk her off leash where ever we go. Jason sent us video clips of him and Mia, walking off leash, through a Home Depot! How cool is that? I am a fan of I.B.K9! If you need a trainer, give I.B.K9 a shot.

I took my German Shepherd, Gunner, to Jason and Jeremy at IBK9, and I could not be happier with the result. As a stray adopted from the animal shelter, Gunner had no training and no good manners, so I knew it was important to invest in good quality obedience training for him, and I found that at IBK9. As a former K9 officer, Jason has extensive knowledge about working with GSD’s and Malanois, which I believe really helped in working with Gunner’s specific needs. The training is also based on positive reinforcement, which went a long way in getting Gunner to respond quickly in his eagerness to please. Both Jason and Jeremy were very flexible in working with my schedule, and they answered any and all questions I asked. Anytime I had a concern regarding Gunner’s behavior, they focused on that issue to find a solution that worked and delivered a positive result. Now that Gunner has completed the 6-week Good Dog Program, Jason and Jeremy are available for any maintenance training I may need as I work to perfect Gunner’s skills. I cannot recommend IBK9 highly enough for anyone needing to train their dogs, regardless of breed!
