Idaho Elite K-9

Chris @ Idaho Elite K-9 has literally saved our pup’s life. We reached out to Chris after working with other trainers desperately looking for help with our 75 lb American Bully Ozzie. We were at the point where we thought we’d have to have him euthanized due to extreme behaviors. Ozzie was very dog reactive and would redirect on us when he became frustrated. I didn’t feel safe being alone with my boy and the stress and fear in our house was palpable. In a last ditch effort I contacted Chris and we brought Ozzie in for help. Chris worked with Ozzie to find what was going on in his young brain and approached our sessions like a therapist would a human. Chris understood that whatever Ozzie’s issues , they were unique to Ozzie and needed a different approach. Over time, and tons of patience, Chris worked with Ozzie and us to restructure old patterns and behaviors. Our boy is totally different dog today. He is happy and can now play in the backyard without me fearing that the slightest noise will cause him to redirect on me or my husband. He understands boundaries and what is not acceptable behaviors. Chris is a master at dog behaviors and his calming demeanor is a bonus for us pet parents. He makes himself available by text or phone whenever the need arises. We were having a particular horrid week with Ozzie and Chris took the time to call me and speak for over a half hour and gave me tips and suggestions for getting through the week.
