Which training plan is more effective?
Both training plans are very effective; it all just depends on how involved in the training you would like to be. Private training you’re involved in the entire training process and day training we take care of most of the training process for you. Then at pick up we will show you what we have done.
We can start in home Private dog training at anytime. If you wanted to do any in facility training with your pup. They must be at least 4 months of age!
We are balanced trainers so we use all four quadrants of Operant Conditioning (positive reinforcement, positive punishment, negative reinforcement, and negative punishment.) and Classical Conditioning (a process that involves creating an association between a naturally existing stimulus and a previously neutral one). We start with the least invasive methods and only go more invasive as needed and with owner approval.

We took our 5 month old Alaskan Malamute to Robert recently and it was exactly what we were looking for. We have a lot of experience with training from our previous GSD and so had pretty high expectations and Robert exceeded all of them. Our boy now has the basics and good manners down (and LOVES to show you how good he is at “place”)- so we will be back in a few months when he is even bigger ! Thanks Robert!
