FirstBarkMy pup Ruhn absolutely loved going to training each day! Rob did an amazing job working with him and adjusting our schedule when we had to miss a week. I am thankful for the increased knowledge I have now and a greater confidence continuing training with my pup.

Which training plan is more effective?
Both training plans are very effective; it all just depends on how involved in the training you would like to be. Private training you’re involved in the entire training process and day training we take care of most of the training process for you. Then at pick up we will show you what we have done.

How old does my dog have to be to start training?
We can start in home Private dog training at anytime. If you wanted to do any in facility training with your pup. They must be at least 4 months of age!

What training methods do you use?
We are balanced trainers so we use all four quadrants of Operant Conditioning (positive reinforcement, positive punishment, negative reinforcement, and negative punishment.) and Classical Conditioning (a process that involves creating an association between a naturally existing stimulus and a previously neutral one). We start with the least invasive methods and only go more invasive as needed and with owner approval.

Stella and Phyllis appreciated Robert's approach to our specific need! Stella, a 3-year old Malinois with so much energy, needed to "train" her owner how to walk her on a leash. On day 1, mission accomplished. The remainder of her training was reinforcement of commands she already knew. Robert helped Stella's confidence (and her owner's also)! Great experience. We have a very crazy 6 month old lab and he did an excellent job with training and instructing us on how to work with her. If further training is needed we will be coming back.
Took my 2 year old French dog for obedience training. Every week was easy drop off and pick up. They review all things with you before leaving for the day. Robert was amazing to work with. Oliver loved it and although he’s a stubborn breed we work with him daily and he does so well.
Our Kona attended K9 Academy with Robert Fisher. Kona was always so excited to jump in my jeep and go to school on Monday mornings. It really says something about a trainer when your dog runs in and is so excited to see him. Kona loved going to K9 Academy. She is very well behaved and learned all the basic commands at school. I recommend this school highly.
