Ideal K9 Training LLC

My German shepherd Arya came to us a very scared, unsocialized and very reactive 4 month old little girl. When I picked her up, it was the first time she’d ever been in a car - when we got home, she army crawled into the house which took 30 minutes. I worked with her everyday, but I then got her into training about 5 months ago with Nikki. I was skeptical, I was so nervous that it wouldn’t work and I would live the next 13 years with a dog who I couldn’t really bring anywhere or have people over to our home with out her losing her absolute ever loving mind. After 4 weeks of training, I now have an amazingly obedient German shepherd who when I bring anywhere with me, she listens to my commands and focuses only on me and who doesn’t pull my arm out of my socket on walks. Our first vet visit since training, the vet entered the room expecting to be barked and growled at by Arya. Our first vet visit we all had to sit around arya on the floor and feed her 85 treats just for the doctor to touch her. Yesterday, vet was shocked when Arya just sat and waited for the door to close behind her as she came in, and for me to say break - to have arya go straight up to her looking for some love and pets and of course those treats. I know I’ve done good by my girl, and put in a lot of work to make sure she has a good life. But to hear it from a professional that she was “proud” to see I came back in with a confident, loving, welcoming dog and that I wasn’t there to get medication to help calm her anxiety down - that was so eye opening for me. So, if you need a trainer - I can NOT recommend Nikki enough, she is truly amazing at what she does - Arya and I will forever be thankful for her 🤍 and we most certainly have a life long friend in Nikki now.
