Megan is the best trainer! She trained my Sheepadoodle puppy, Bella, via one-on-one classes and then through a 30 day lodge and learn. Bella learned the basics and now we are building on that for service animal work. I am so grateful to Megan to not only train Bella, but also give me the proper tools as a pet-Mom and handler. We also utilize boarding with Megan because it helps to reinforce what Bella has already learned versus her just sitting in a kennel and being handled by a stranger. Megan is truly incredible! Our dog, Genji, (5 y/o mini Aussie) was born in 2020 so aside from being a covid puppy and not being able to truly socialize, we also moved and didn’t know anyone for a while, so he became very reactive (barking, pulling on the leash, nipping, etc). He had a lot of social anxiety. When we first moved to Yulee, we had tried another trainer and saw success with managing reactions, but never got to the root cause. Megan took our consult and was very confident she could help Genji, and boy she did! Genji went for board and train for several months which was hard to be away from him, but Megan gave constant updates and sent videos and photos to us. Genji was also very happy with being boarded and trained and trusted Megan and her assistant Ryland and still loves to see them. When we did come into the picture, she not only trained Genji, but trained us too so we would know how to keep his good behaviors going.Since we’ve gotten Genji back, he’s been a totally different dog. He’s more confident in himself and reactions are very minimal, if at all. He still has some social anxiety to people but he’s come so far as to let our friends pet him and play with him. I would recommend Idyllic Canine Training to anyone needing help with their reactive dog.

Last month, my family experienced an emergency and we needed to find care for our two senior, special-needs Shiba Inus. Before our trip, we were able to bring the dogs to meet Megan and Ryland so everyone could feel comfortable. They were incredibly patient with us — two very nervous dog parents who had never left our babies before. All of our dogs’ needs were carefully noted, and the entire week went smoothly without a single issue. Little Gus needed to learn some manners, and Idyllic Training massively helped us with that! While we were on vacation, Gus completed Idyllic's Board and Train program and came back a totally different dog!! Idyllic gave us the tools and language to communicate with Gus so that he knows what is expected and it has also improved our bond and relationship. Megan (the owner) tailored Gus' training to our real life needs- traveling in hotels and working remotely, and has always made herself available for questions or extra lessons. Gus and our 9 year old dog both love their time with Megan and Idyllic - and we highly recommend Idyllic to friends and family for puppy training, day care and boarding!

I gave my 2 wonderful but very energetic 1-year old pit bull terriers to Megan for training. My girls were found by the side of the road and had many trust issues and needed a lot of ground work laid before she could work with them. They were with her for 2 1/2 months and they came back new dogs. It has taken time, but they have come out of their shell and are feeling more confident every day which has made her training very effective Megan was a joy to work with and I HIGHLY recommend Idyllic Canine Training
