Imperial Canine Obedience

I cannot say enough good things about Imperial Canine. I have a pup who’s almost a year old working with Leah. We had previously gone through puppy classes elsewhere and I wasn’t impressed. I thought for sure I could train my dog without help but sometimes it’s better to involve the professionals. And this is exactly what this team is - professional. My doggo has made so much progress in the day school program and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go this route this time around. She is in constant contact, sends regular updates and videos, and her genuine compassion for what she does is wonderfully obvious. As our day school program comes to an end, I can confidently say we will be back for whatever is next in our training journey!

Did a two week board and train program for our dogs who were ages 7 and 4 at the time, and the changes in their behavior have been worth every penny. Particularly their mastery of the “place” command and how great their leash manners are now. It has really strengthened our relationship with our dogs and has made it so much easier to take them in public places with us. And above all else, the dogs seem happier, and more confident in knowing how to behave in a variety of circumstances. Betty and Woodford are changed dogs, and we are so grateful!!

Training with Leah helped all of us refresh and improve our commands and behavior. Our 2-year-old rescue naturally has a great temperament, but we pursued private lessons to work on some of his "fringe" issues (jumping on friends, pulling on walks, barking when a package was delivered, etc.). We now know how to manage his excitement and set him up for success with external stimuli. He loves to learn, and so do we! We'll definitely be continuing lessons in the future.
