Imprinted Paws

We have a senior blind dog, Simba ,and recently got a puppy, Daisy. After initially getting along the older Daisy got the more she would get in the face of our blind older dog and that made him nervous and agitated. It was to the point where we were going to have to rehome Daisy. After my daughter having an amazing experience with Imprinted Paws we decided to give it a try. Thank God we did! They did such an amazing job with Daisy. After coming home, she now respects Simba’s boundaries and the two live in harmony. I’m so thankful to Imprinted Paws for keeping our family together. At 5 mos old Daisy is so much more manageable and we just adore her. Imprinted Paws is also very responsive with the questions I’ve had since bringing Daisy home. Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to remember everything we have learned and they have been so patient and kind with us.

If you’re thinking of having your dog go to training you shouldn’t look anywhere else but imprinted paws. Valerie and her whole crew are amazing and care for the dogs so much and make them into the dog you want them to be. I was so amazed when I picked my puppy up at first I thought it wasn’t even my dog. That’s how amazing she did with him and how much she loves and cares and dedicates her life to these dogs. She is a wonderful women and I truly wouldn’t recommend any one else but imprinted paws. Give Valerie a call and i promise you it will be the best decision you could make!

We sent our two 4-month-old puppies, Teddy and Pixie, to the three-week training program at Imprinted Paws, and the difference is unbelievable. They’ll be just five months old at the start of December, so we knew they were young — but we had no idea how much progress they could make in such a short time. Before training, walking them was nearly impossible. They acted like feral cats on a leash — pulling, spinning, refusing to move, completely overwhelmed. We honestly couldn’t take them on real walks at all. Three weeks later, they came home like different dogs. They walk perfectly on a leash now — calm, focused, and actually enjoyable to take outside. They sleep through the night in their crates, which has been a complete game changer. They’re almost fully house-broken, with consistency and routines we’d never been able to achieve on our own. You’re told beforehand that you’ll only receive one mid-cycle update on their progress, and we did receive one — but we also saw them a few times in their Facebook posts, and even then we could see the difference. The moment we came home, it was clear the Imprinted Paws team had poured real work, patience, and expertise into our pups. Teddy and Pixie look happy, confident, and proud of themselves — and we were blown away by how far they had come. We are genuinely grateful for what Imprinted Paws has done for our dogs and for our home. If you’re struggling with walking, crate training, or basic puppy behaviors, this program is worth every bit of trust you put into it. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Imprinted Paws! From the moment I met Valerie, the director of the program, I knew my dog Chapo was in good hands. The entire team treated him with genuine care and respect, and they addressed every single concern I had. When I picked Chapo up and met his trainer, I was amazed by the progress he’d made. My once stubborn Cane Corso can now hold his stay/place command for two hours straight, and he no longer pulls ahead on walks — he stays calmly behind me while I lead. That’s right, I’m finally leading the walk, and it feels incredible to have that kind of control and connection with my dog. I also loved seeing the training updates they posted on Facebook, which gave me peace of mind and let me watch Chapo’s transformation in real time. Imprinted Paws truly are miracle workers — they know their stuff and they get results. I’m beyond satisfied and will absolutely be boarding Chapo there when I go on vacation. Any future dogs I get will be trained here too, no question. To anyone reading negative reviews, remember this: real change starts with the owner.
