In Home Dog Training

My 6 year old, male, Lab mix spent 3 days with RD for training needed for anxiety and protectiveness resulting from all of the chaos of our home remodel. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! RD returned our dog and worked with us at home helping us implement desired behaviors. We are thrilled. Our dog is happy and well-behaved. We will definitely add more training as needed and recommend to friends and family.

We borded our 1.5 year old boxer Romeo with RD for 2 weeks. RD changed our life! Her training with Romeo and US was exactly what we needed. It gave us the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy Romeo the way we always wanted to. Don't let his sweet face fool you...he's teouble. Romeo was super hyperactive and lunged at other dogs and humans. He still has those tendencies but is much more controlled. He came across as aggressive. We tried several things...being prior boxer owners we thought we could manage on our own. NOPE! Romeo gave us a run for our money. He's been out of training for 1 month 1/2 and we've been able to stay consistent with RD's methods. It's still alot of work for us to maintain a schedule...but we understand after some solid constency it will get easier. If you're not willing to put in the work...no training will help you! We're still working through his interest with other dogs in our neighborhood....he's stubborn about that. Examples how RD training helped us: We went to downtown for the first time after training and enjoyed a coffee inside the coffee shop, while people walked in and out. He stayed by our side the whole time. A clothing store allowed us to bring him inside and have him in place off leash in the corner of the store while we shopped. YES off leash...crazy! People shopping would stare at him and take pics. We had 16 people over of all ages. It was distraction overload! We were able to control him and get him back to us fairly quickly. Everyone was so impressed with how well he was behaving. We were proud of him and us. His recall is solid for the most part...will take more practice, and him staying in place for long periods of time is right on! It's peaceful now. I can go on and on....We are just so grateful for RD for giving us what we so desperately needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
