Our experience with Linda was absolutely fantastic! Before Linda, our golden retriever puppy was hyper, didn't listen or mind, and was constantly puppy biting people. After only six sessions, it's like he's a completely different dog. She taught us techniques that we never considered and changed our approach with interacting with our dog. Being involved with horses and dogs all of my life, I have seen my share of trainers. I didn't quite understand the difference between a trainer and behaviorist until I met Linda (she is both) and immediately upon engaging her help it was apparent exactly how educated and talented she is. She has the ability to quickly and empathetically analyze a situation or issue and clearly communicate what is happening and why. She was ESSENTIAL to saving our relationship with our very smart, insanely energetic, sly and naughty Vizsla puppy. - We were in way over our heads with him - we were at the point where we had tried everything (or thought we had) and things just got worse. After even just the first meeting with Linda, she was able to interpret what was going on, how to best handle him and started training US right away. We literally saw results that same day; she had helped us to speak his language. From there we worked diligently to follow her advice with consistency and the occasional consult. We supplemented by taking her class (which was super fun) and not only did things turn around with our Vizsla, we ended up rescuing a second one a few years later. Linda again helped us with our second dog who had some unique issues from his previous situation. Again, she knew exactly what to do and again, we couldn't have done it without her. I strongly recommend that you contact Linda with your questions and needs - she is incredible and we are beyond grateful for her help!

I worked with Linda with my horse Boogie with his separation anxiety. He was horrible and hated to leave the barn and his buddies. But with Linda's patience and positive reinforcement techniques we were able to help Boogie get over his fears of leaving the barn and become a safe and happy trail partner. I highly recommend Linda not just for dogs (she's wonderful with them!) but any animal as her positive training techniques work wonders!

I adopted Zeus almost a 1 year ago. He is the most adorable, sweetest and lovable dog but anxiety outside of the home. He LOVES people but we can never tell if he will bite their pets as he growled and pulls on his leash. Linda has helped us to handle Zeus by teaching him the right way to respond to other animals. She has also helped us understand where his limits are and how to modify what we need to do to prevent any problems that may occur. I love that Linda teaches positive reinforcement that has quickly helped us help Zeus with the anxiety. An example of Linda's positive reinforcement in people is like this one. Imagine you have new job and the new boss first teaches you their language then easily understand each other. You enjoy your job. Instead, with old fashion negative reinforcement, you are working at a new job where your boss speaks a different language. As you are trying to learn what to do, you are yelled at when wrong, but they had never shown you how to do it in the first place. This job stinks!
