A positive, constructive, and FUN experience for you and your pup! Amy teaches with kindness, good sense, lots of energy, and good humor. Everything she teaches is based on the foundations of what has come before, with a thorough, logical explanation of why the dogs are behaving and responding the way they are. Amy is always on her feet, ready to jump in and teach by example, demonstrating each skill with a different dog (or person!) every time. The facility is safe and inviting, great for both the shy, meeker puppies as well as big, rambunctious monsters. I've been to other dog trainers previously, and the only reason I'm glad I did is so I can appreciate Amy and her methods all the more.

After waiting 17 years to get another blue nose pit I had finally got one. Brook was 8weeks old when I picked her up and with in her first week home she would aggressively growl, snap, and lunge at whoever tried to move her or pick her up. My husband was afraid she would hurt our children and said we need to consider surrendering her while she was still a baby. Heart broken and desperate I reached out to Amy. Amy ensured me my puppy was perfectly fine, she spent time on call reassuring me that she was afraid and not aggressive and the importance of learning about dog communication. I signed up for her program and I am so glad I did. We learned so much about how to understand dog behavior, when to give space, how to teach obedience, recall and come. We learned what triggered anxiety in our pup and how to help her work through that. Amy gave us a wonderful gift. Brook is now 9months old and 55lb lap dog. She is a joy to our family and gentle as a teddy bear. We could not imagine our home with out her.
