Right from the get go with the free consultation, Keith and the entire team showed an incredible level of care, professionalism, and knowledge with our German shepherd mix. They didn’t just train our dog — they gave us the tools and confidence to continue his training at home and set us up for long-term success. Every session was informative, hands-on, and tailored to help both us and our dog improve. We consistently left feeling more confident and learned something new each time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Inclined Canine Academy (ICA). I was referred by a former client when my pup, Xena, started exhibiting a loud, whiny yodel-bark around other dogs at about 8–12 months old. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Inclined Canine Academy. After starting with another trainer who immediately pressured us into an expensive board-and-train program because our Shiba Inu puppy was supposedly “going to be a biter,” we left feeling discouraged and worried that something was wrong with our dog. The team at Inclined Canine Academy was the complete opposite. From the beginning, they took the time to understand our puppy, reassured us that much of what we were experiencing was simply a Shiba being a Shiba, and never made us feel judged for choosing a breed that’s known for being stubborn, independent, and mouthy. Instead of fear-based predictions, they provided practical guidance, realistic expectations, and a clear training plan. One recommendation in particular made an incredible difference: they suggested we try a different training collar, and the results were truly night and day. Leash training and daily walks became dramatically easier almost immediately, and both our puppy and my wife and I became much more confident and comfortable as a result. What impressed us most was their experience, professionalism, and ability to meet both dogs and owners where they are. They never talked down to us, never made us feel like we were failing, and always focused on helping us build a better relationship with our puppy. Hello big and small dog mamas and papas!!! We are on our 3rd week of training and finished our first pack meet up at Inclined. I cant rave enough about this place and their program! We have done training before with other known companies, which has given my big boy a great foundation (as well as myself, because lets be honest us humans are really the ones that need the training). But Inclined is a whole different level! The trainers invest and want to make your fur baby succeed on all levels. So your dog isn't social, they will make space for that, your dog isn't friendly, they will make space for that, your dog doesn't listen, they will make space for that... the space is done in baby steps, which allows your fur baby to succeed. They are also solid in the communication area. Which is huge to me. All I can say is do your part and invest in your animals, its your responsibility as a pet parent. Why not get connected with a program that will train your animal as well as you the pet parent. My experience has been nothing but positive, its one of the best investments I have made in my dog and that is priceless!
