Incredible Canines LLC

I will preface this review with our background. We have been dog parents for over 35 years and 8 rescued pups over that time frame. Our last pup passed away in December and we were finally ready to adopt another pup! These pictures are from the second time Cynthia visited (several weeks after her first visit.) Our pup came from a humane society north of here and he was an untrained 11 month old! He began showing bad behaviors about 2 weeks in, but he also showed us he was smart and eager/willing to learn. We hired Cynthia as soon as we recognized it wasn’t a “training issue” but a reaction to certain things (motorcycles, anyone visiting our home, etc.). Cynthia brought her knowledge and experience to our home and helped us understand our beautiful and mis-understood pup. We spent hours with her! She gave us the determination and the tools to help our pup gain confidence in strange situations and to become comfortable with new things and unknown people. Following her guidance, we saw major improvements in his behavior within a week and continued to improve each week. When she came back for her follow up visit, our pup was a completely different dog. With confidence and calmness with unusual situations and new people. These pictures demonstrate that strangers are great and “I wanna hang out with you!” (Inside our house!) Cynthia educated us, “trained” us to be effective dog parents, and gave us a multitude of methods to help our rescued pup adjust to a _real_ “forever home” after experiencing 2 other families and then a humane society. We highly recommend Cynthia! Our pup has been with us for about 4 months and we made the right decision to contact Cynthia rather than focusing solely on “training”. He is smart and willing to learn. What we needed went well beyond that! Cynthia delivered!

Cindy is wonderful working with my stressed out Corgi. She takes the time to “listen” to Winnie and does not apply any one size fits all training methods. Winnie has a lot of emotions and ideas and Cindy is very perceptive to all of her cues, emotional, physical and breed related. She also takes the time to really observe her relationship with her canine sister and our pack dynamic. There is a lot more that goes into her work than sit, down, stay!

Cindy is the best! She took the time to figure out how to communicate with my anxious/reactive rescue girl AND me, as well as the new puppy who changed our dynamic. She gave me confidence and skills to be the best dog mom I can be and continue to raise a confident less-reactive GSD rescue and build a foundation to train the pup to come to work with me as a therapy dog. Cindy never stops learning to stay on top of current information about how to best support dogs and their people. I've recommended her all over the country and will continue to!
