My dog has worked with Sam for a while now. She is great with working with the dog as well as the handler. I have a lot of anxiety and I felt like she took that into consideration when making a correction on what I was doing. I also felt comfortable going to train with her without my husband around. Sam just wants what is best for you and your dog. We have been working with her for almost a year now. You can tell she really has a passion for dogs and is in the right profession. I highly recommend her to help you make your dog the best it can be.

I did the in-home training classes with Indian Trail Dog Training. I had a great experience with Cheryl! She showed me how to confidently train my dog. She answered all of my questions (even text!) and was understanding when I got confused or if my dog didn’t do something quite right. My dog is 2.5 years old and very very nervous around people. She quickly learned that Cheryl always had the best treats and would get excited when she saw the car pull up. I always thought my dog was “trained” just because I had taught her a few fun tricks. I had no idea the impact that overall obedience training had on a dogs anxiety levels. Cheryl taught me essential skills for interacting with my dog. It definitely eased my own anxiety levels towards my sweet girl and now instead of getting frustrated, I can communicate with a command my dog understands. It’s been a couple months now and after practicing for just a FEW minutes daily, my dogs anxious behavior has improved as a result. My dog and I live happier now that I can tell her something and she can confidently act accordingly. My tip for people getting classes with Cheryl- take notes! I’m so thankful that I took notes to refer back to, I wholeheartedly agree with her fear free approach. High fives all around!

This was my first time hiring a professional dog trainer. I signed up for the in home package with Cheryl and it was a great experience. Cheryl listened to my concerns, answered questions that I had, and helped me to better understand my puppy’s behaviors. She gave helpful advice and had quick tips on how to address each behavior in different situations. I really appreciate Cheryl’s help and would recommend her dog training services to others.

I just completed my six week puppy socialization and training course and I am so pleased! I was so skeptical about what kind of progress could be made with my highly energetic Dalmatian puppy, Dash, and I have to say I am amazed. Not only did Dash learn invaluable skills like settling in his spot, we were able to observe him interact positively with other puppies and gain the confidence to take him around other dogs safely. We have been showing off what he has learned everywhere from the dog park to Petsmart. And most importantly, I was able to share and practice the lessons at home with two young children.
