Heather has been an incredible addition to Livy Lou's training and, most importantly, to my understanding of how to communicate with her! I started working with Heather after my dog had had a lot of basic obedience classes. I wanted to "sure up" some of the skills she still struggled with but without curbing the drive that makes her good at dog sports. I was anxious about finding the right trainer to help with this, and it turned out that Heather was the perfect fit. Not only does Livy love her, but Heather has done so much to teach ME what is going on with Livy and why she is behaving a certain way/how to address certain behaviors. I feel so lucky to have found her and look forward to working with her for a long time! She has helped me to create a much more well rounded, easy to live with dog who still has so much potential in dog sports!

I highly recommend Heather at Influential K9! I have been working with her for the past 12 weeks working on basic training as well as some resource guarding with 1 year old Golden retriever. She has helped me build a stronger relationship with my pup, as well as helping me navigate this new experience. Heather has always been a listening ear and always willing to offer feedback even if it is not our scheduled training day. I look to forward to watching influential K9 grow, and to work with Heather in the future!

We cannot say enough good things about Heather. We are so thankful we found her to dog sit for our dog Vegas while we were away at our destination wedding. We were very nervous about leaving him, especially with him being a very big and high energy dog who isn’t the easiest to walk and handle at times. From our very first meet and greet with Heather, all of our anxiety went away. Our dog absolutely loved her right away! Prior to our trip, she was very thorough with gathering all of the information she needed to ensure Vegas and our home was safe and in good hands. During our entire trip, she was communicative through text and our portal in case we weren’t checking our phones. This way we could go back and see what her and Vegas did, his bathroom and eating activities, and she sent lots of pictures and videos! We were able to completely relax while being away knowing that he was being so well taken care of. Heather even came back an extra day unplanned for us due to our flight being delayed and we appreciated her flexibility so much. It is so clear that Heather loves dogs and what she does. I’m so happy we found her for our Vegas and we definitely will be using her again for dog sitting and drop in visits. 1000/10 recommend her for your pup!
