I’ve been taking my Doberman, Romeo, to Integrated K9 Solutions for the past 4 months, and the transformation has been incredible. Romeo’s reactivity issues have improved dramatically, his confidence has skyrocketed, and his obedience is noticeably better. But what’s helped tremendously is how Paul has guided me as a dog owner. I used to be anxious taking Romeo out in public due to his unpredictable reactions, but Paul has taught me and continues to remind me that by trusting myself, Romeo will trust me in return, reducing the need for him to react. We still have a ways to go but we’ve both grown leaps and bounds under Paul’s guidance. I can’t recommend Integrated K9 Solutions enough! Paul is crème de la crème.

2 years ago I met with Paul for the first time and shared my dream of training my dog so that we could work as a dog/handler therapy dog team. Not only did he give us the foundation to pass all of the needed tests, he has continued to encourage and support us as we continue to add to our resume. The most important thing I’ve learned is “my dog already knows what to do, I just need to learn how to ask him”. Paul will help you achieve your dreams, and he will encourage you to dream bigger and then he will help you get there!

If you have a dog in your life that could use a little training, Integrated K9 Solutions is for you! I have to share my experience because it’s totally transformed our world. So if you’re on the fence about obedience training, here’s your sign: Go for it! Toby is a large breed puppy I adopted and he was quickly becoming unmanageable due to his increasing size and strength. He is a gentle giant but was uncontrollable on walks and absolutely too big to be so unruly. He needed to learn some manners and fast! We have completed the basic obedience training program with Integrated K9 Solutions and we’re so happy with the results. Paul LoRe is the owner/trainer and also hands-down THE BEST, for both dogs and owners (because don’t be fooled: this owner needed more training and behavior changed than the dog! But Paul makes it relatively painless and keeps it fun.) Paul was super helpful, even on the first call we had, offering little suggestions to help until we officially got started. We did 1-on-1 private weekly training for 8 weeks at Paul’s farm (goats and horses and cows, oh my! Awesome setting.) Techniques/commands are explained, demonstrated, and then I was given the opportunity to practice them myself. Paul provided feedback and suggestions so that I knew how to properly train on my own with Toby during the week until our next lesson. Paul was also graciously available between classes to answer follow-up questions and help with any issues we ran into along the way. He’s also very skilled at communicating insight into how a dogs mind works to further support training methods and WHY certain things work while others don’t. I think what really sets Paul apart from other trainers is that you can tell he has a passion for what he does and a genuine desire to help improve the relationship between owners/dogs. He took the time to really understand what our needs/goals were and factored in my dog’s natural and individual tendencies. Paul was very patient with both me and Toby. A few months after completing training with Toby, I then took my other older dog, Max, for training because the experience and results with Toby were great. Another amazing outcome with Max as well! Now that we’re done with private lessons, we attend the Saturday group training which is so fun. There we have the opportunity to work on Toby and Max’s behavior in social settings with new dogs and people, distraction training, and overall good manners in public. The value of the services Paul offers is priceless (and the actual $$ cost is ridiculously affordable.) I can’t put a price on the peace of mind I have knowing I can confidently handle my dogs now and I have the skills/support to address any future issues head-on. Life is better for my family now that counter-surfing has stopped, no more leash-pulling/dragging us up the street on walks with my children, we have a bulletproof recall, they will sit/stay (indefinitely!!), and I have learned the ability to communicate with Toby and Max in a healthy, respectful, and effective manner.
