Integrated K9 Solutions

We highly recommend the board and train program at Integrated K9 Solutions. We adopted our shelter dog in 2023 (~2.5 years old at that time). He is very sweet - mostly a couch potato at home. While he occasionally exhibited some reactivity, anxiety, and protective tendencies, those tendencies became more severe/pronounced in the past year. A friend recommended the board & train program at Integrated K9 Solutions. Paul, Katie, and their team worked their magic with our dog. They sent updates and photos of our dog while he was training. The package included private lessons with us to teach us how to handle him and how to reinforce the training once boarding was completed. Once we brought our dog home, the impact of the training was immediately evident. During his first walk, we approached a couple of neighborhood dogs who traditionally elicit a response from our dog. While the neighbor dogs showed their usual interest, my dog did not react at all. I only wish we had invested in training with Integrated K9 Solutions when we first adopted our dog. We live in northeast Atlanta, so it’s a good hour to Newnan, but it was totally worth it.

We came to Paul from a recommendation by a friend. I had completed 12 weeks of training at Petsmart (passed beginner and intermediate classes), but my Lucky was still not where he needed to be. He could sit, down, stay, but he was terrified of every human and dog. Multiple times a week, every week, I was taking him to dog parks, petsmart, lowes, etc to try and socialize him, but it still wasn't working. Oh, and, he's an 11 month old, 80lb, great pyrenees mix. I was so worried that I was about to have a 100lb monster dog on my hands. Paul entirely changed my relationship with my Lucky boy. Through our private lessons, we both gained a lot of confidence, trust, and respect. We learned better ways to communicate and Lucky learned boundaries. He is no longer scared and it has allowed him to be so much more relaxed and happier. Lucky is now 100% off leash on my property and an absolute gentleman in public. Paul's understanding of dog psychology really sets him apart from other trainers. His assistants Katie and Abigail were so fun to work with and we learned so much from them as well.

We’ve been working with Paul for our puppy, Archie, and I can honestly say he saved my sanity. It has been a great experience for our whole family. Archie has learned so much, and Paul has been incredibly patient and thoughtful with us from day one. I have a medical condition that makes some parts of training challenging, and Paul never made me feel rushed. He adjusted every session so it worked for me and still kept Archie moving forward. It was genuinely personalized for our family. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about helping you and your dog succeed, I’d definitely recommend working with Paul!
