Dear Clement, we are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent care for all of our dogs. Your dog, Chip, had free access to water throughout his stay and we closely monitored him as we do with all of the dogs at our facility. He was in good health during his entire stay. In respect to his drinking behavior when he arrived home, it is not uncommon for dog's drinking habits to change while they are being boarded or away from home. This is normal K9 behavior and most dogs return to normal drinking habits within a couple of days at home. It is normal for dogs to play right before they are taken home, or drink lots of water upon arriving home as they are back in their normal place with their owner that they love. In regards to the excess food, our records indicate you dropped Chip off Thursday before dinner and not Friday which accounts for two extra meals, one Thursday evening and another Friday morning. This is why there was no food left. Our staff loves our dogs and it is a privilege to take care of them. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

We are sorry this happened and having looked into your experience, I can understand your frustration. One of the most important aspects of training is Handler Training so that when you go home with your newly trained dog(s), you know exactly what to do. It seems that we had arranged for you to come in to have the final Handler Training at our facility and you thought we were coming to you resulting in you not getting trained. We could have done either but the miscommunication meant that you didn’t receive this critical aspect of training which is unfortunate. Our updates are through texting, so if you were expecting verbal updates, that would also be cause for frustration. Our trainers are busy with training and socializing the dogs all day and are out and about part of the time taking the dogs for walks in public, going to parks, stores, restaurants and so on, so their attention is fully engaged with the dogs throughout the day which is why we send texting updates. We would love the opportunity to complete the handler training with you and perform any necessary refresher training that your dogs may need so that you and your dogs have a positive experience.
