Into The Woods Canine

I cannot recommend Into the Woods enough. Alicia and her team are top notch. With the one on one training when our pup first started Alicia not only helped Auggie but she also helped train the trainers. My wife and I needed it to help reinforce at home. From grooming to day school and most importantly the hikes our pup absolutely loves going with them. So much so he’s actually left treats behind to get out the door….and that doesn’t happen!

We started sending our dog, Clifford, to day school shortly before welcoming our first child into the family. We knew he wouldn’t be getting all the attention he deserves at home and that we would need some help meeting his needs! From day one, we knew we made the right choice. The way he bounds to the door to greet the staff tells us everything we need to know. Their pick up and drop off service is also a lifesaver for life with a newborn. It’s clear they truly care about every dog that walks through their doors. Clifford is thriving, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful team!

I cannot say enough about Alicia and Into the Woods Canine!! We started working with Alicia 1:1 when our puppy Moby was about 8 months old. He is very friendly and loves other dogs, but he would play WAY too rough with dogs who were not as friendly. Alicia helped us tremendously with curbing some of this behavior. He now goes to day school and I feel so at ease knowing that he is played with, exercised outside, and genuinely loved and cared for when I have to work. He is so excited to get into the car for day school and is always happy and tired when he gets home. Highly recommend!!

I don’t know where I’d be without Alicia and team. I adopted my girl Kaya from Texas, a year old stray. I didn’t know where to start with training, we went right to into the woods canine and it has been the best thing for her. We do the day school which is 2.5 hours and Kaya gets to socialize in a safe environment with a small group of dogs, she is taught skills like learning to stop play when a dog is done, basic obedience and we’ve worked a lot on recall. I’ve also done 1 on 1 training with Alicia and the skills we learn there we take home and continue to practice and it’s been so beneficial. Alicia explains everything in depth and sends detailed recaps as well as videos and explanations/the science behind why we use certain commands. Every day after pickup Kaya snoozes for the remainder of the day from all the playing! This is the best dog school around!!!!
