IronFire Setters

If I could put 10 stars, I would do so with no hesitation. My experience with IronFire Setters has been terrific. I came across IronFire Setters 2-1/2 years ago while in the search for a field-bred Irish Setter. I had no experience with bird hunting or hunting dogs and hardly even knew what I was looking for. After speaking with Roger Berg (the previous owner) and looking at the breeding stock on their website, I eventually decided to go with IronFire. I ended up reserving a female pup from Eric in the fall of 2020 and finally got my dream dog in July 2021. (The wait was longer than usual because I wanted a pup from a certain dog.) It wasn't too long before I realized I had a jewel in my hands. The puppy Eric picked out for me turned out to have a wonderful personality (calm and obedient, yet independent) and an amazing drive for finding birds. When I brought her to the vet for the first time, my vet was shocked at how calm she was for a setter. She's better than I could ever have imagined. Throughout the whole process of obtaining my puppy, Eric was easy to work with. Even during the difficult time of trying to get my pup from Colorado to Washington during a major heat wave, he was very helpful and did not lose patience. I would definitely purchase a dog from him again. If you want a first-rate, driven bird dog and best friend, look no further. IronFire Setters is the way to go.
