Julia was amazing! From the beginning, she made us feel completely comfortable and confident leaving Petey in her care. Petey is a rescue and came to us very shy, unsure of himself, and knowing basically no commands. The difference after working with Julia has been incredible! He came home with so much more confidence, knows his commands, is trained both on and off leash, and even learned how to play appropriately and respectfully with other dogs. It truly feels like he came back a different dog, while still being the same sweet Petey we love. Julia was also great about communicating with us and making sure we understood how to continue everything she taught him at home. We are so happy with his progress and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer!

I rescued a 10 yo female German shepherd who had so much trauma and fear. Julia came to the rescue and taught both the dog and I how to handle all of it. She no longer wants to eat men who come into the house lol. In all seriousness Julia is absolutely the best trainer and has the best connection with the dogs. If you’re looking for help with training your dog or you need help with changing some of your dog’s behaviors that concern you, look no further. These guys are the real deal right here. My dog had started showing some behaviors that were concerning to me and I knew that I needed to seek extra help from a professional. A friend of my mom’s told her about Julia and how wonderful of an experience she had when she took her dog to Julia. So I called her to see if I could set something up with my dog. Best decision I ever made! My first impression during the initial evaluation she had with Frank (my boy) and I was how professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind she is. She took the time to explain the methods she uses, why she uses them, and what is achieved by using them. While she was talking to me, I also realized that she was observing his behaviors as well, which I really liked too. After picking Frank up from his two week training and boarding with her, I have to say that I am beyond impressed and grateful for her help. Those problem behaviors that Frank used to have are now under control. This does not mean that once training and boarding ends, so does the work you need to do with your dog at home though. You still need to make sure you are practicing the commands at home and be consistent with them. Julia will also take the time to show you the commands and when and how to utilize them before you take your dog home. The way she explains them is easy to remember and put into place and if you need more help she is right there for you. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she trains. So if you find yourself needing more help with your dog’s behavioral issues, I HIGHLY recommend bringing them here. I cannot emphasize enough how awesome Julia and her staff are! Don’t wait until those issues become a bigger problem. One of the best things you can do for your dog (and you as the owner) is coming here for help. You will definitely see a big improvement!
