Joe at J. Wells Kennels is outstanding. He’s incredibly patient, explains everything thoroughly, and brings a deep wealth of knowledge to every session. The training method at J Wells is unlike anything we had previously experienced with bird dog training, it has been highly effective and perfectly suited for our sensitive Brittany, Porter. We began with private lessons with Joe and eventually enrolled our 1.5-year-old Brit in their six-week board-and-train hunting program. During Porter’s boarding, both Joe and Jamie kept us well-informed, and Faith went out of her way to make sure Porter was cared for. The J Wells facility is top notch and I highly recommend their training services and programs. Porter has returned sharper in obedience, more steady on birds, and with a solid foundation in retrieving.

I can't say enough fabulous things about J. Wells. They literally saved my dogs life. I had no idea the things I was doing, while in good intent were setting my dog and I up to fail. They not only helped my dog learn better behavior they are teaching ME how to be better for my dog and how to best work with him to correct the issues. Jamie has been an absolute godsend. They got me in as a frantic mess ... they were our last chance to save my boy. They didn't judge me.... they helped me. They are amazing and thanks to them my dog AND I are learning how to work as a team and have a much safer , functional, healthy relationship. Their kindness , compassion, and empathy made such a difference in our lives. Their knowledge and professionalism brought a dog I Love and was about to lose back to me. They are by far the ONLY place I will ever trust my dog with. If your wondering if you should call them, do it. For you AND your dog. Jamie and crew, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
