Jabula Dog Academy

We can’t say enough good things about the 2 week training program at Jabula Dog Academy and our dog’s trainer, Maggie. The program was a total game changer for us. Maggie worked for a little over 2 weeks with our 60+ pound lab who would steal food off the table, constantly bark at passers-by and was so unruly on the leash that our two children couldn’t walk him. He now sits patiently and quietly in his “place” in the living room while we eat and hangs out in the yard without all the barking. We’ve also been able to take him out to eat and on a camping trip, something we could have never dreamed of before the training. Thank you Jabula and Maggie!

We were referred years ago with our dog who had significant behavior and guarding issues. Not only did they help us then but we now have two vizslas and both have flourished and are confident, loving dogs because of the obedience, daycare and agility services offered by Jabula. We need trusted partners to help us with our dogs so they are at their best and we couldn’t say enough about the team at Jabula. They love and care for the dogs they are trusted with like one of their own.

My vet recommended this place. Talked with Keenan and Maggie who both said they'd be able to work with my dog. Growling sometimes at strangers. Nipping at dogs after long day care day (no biting or contact). They recommended a 2 week $2750 stay, but said he'd need a temperament test which he passed today. NOW I'm told the $2750 is for a General Obedience class and of course they can't deal with specific issues. No thx. What a bait n switch. Can get this at PetSmart for 1/10 the cost. What an underhanded deceitful ripoff SMH In response to lengthy comment below: Yes. In the phone consult and at drop off you said you would address my dog’s issues. Your website says you will address specific issues. Just after someone agrees to pay an extremely pricey fee though, you recant and say Jabula only offers General Obedience classes hoping they won’t catch on. This is nothing less than fraud.

Before we engaged the professional services of Jabula- and got Kenan as his trainer- we thought we had made a mistake getting a lively shelter puppy for our retirement years. Our daughter was going to take him because we couldn't deal with his behaviors, chewing everything (including my wife a few times). Kenan gave US the training we needed to build on the excellent training program at Jabula. In two weeks, he and his team transformed Winston into a dream dog! We still keep his collar on since we don't have a fenced yard but he rarely needs it- voice commands work most of the time. He's a happy, well behaved boy who loves his home in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Training our dog at Jabula Academy was such a worthwhile investment!!
