How do you get your dog certified to volunteer as a hospitality dog for nursing homes, etc?

Can I come May8 because my dog Paris is too hyper she is a terrier mixed and she almost cut my littlesister throat and I don't want to lose her but my mom said if she keeps this up she will have to go.got any advice?i will come May8(if I am not busy)

I have trained two therapy dogs at Jackie’s basic and beyond and as such, they have given so much love and joy to adults and children alike. No matter where I take my dog, people ask how to get their dogs to behave so well? I say “ Take them to classes at Jackie’s basic and beyond!”

I have been taking classes at Jackie’s Basics and Beyond since she opened for business. My first dog obtained all three levels of CGC, became a therapy dog, and learned to pull a cart for the Christmas parade with Jackie. The next three dogs have all been in training with a focus on the types of classes they most enjoy and obtaining their CGCs too. My newest dog has started competition obedience with Lynn and at our first trial won 1st place. The atmosphere at the center is like a family where everyone is supportive making the whole experience fun for you and your dog(s). We are career students here, as there is always more you can learn and accomplish with the variety of classes.
We just finished our second 6 week class with our pup. Lynn, who taught both of our classes, has been great. My husband and I feel so much more confident in how to work together and train our dog to be a well mannered, happy, sociable pet. Our dog loves going to school and leaning!

We are an older couple who thought we were finished with dogs. Our children thought we still needed one to keep us active so gifted us a Cattle dog puppy. The only way this would work is if we had a very well-behaved Cattle dog so she started obedience training at 12wks. She has taken different classes from agility to showing and is a great dog thanks to the pros at Jackie’s. Every day people comment on how well-behaved she is. She’s not perfect but we continue to work on her manners and we think we will ultimately have a great companion. Thanks!
