Jackpot k9

Big, big, big shout-out to Steph, Abby, Travis for saving our little 'terrierist' Yorick, a rescued five-year-old pandemic pup, from a lifetime of potential anxiolytics, and setting him - and us - on a path toward managing his barking and leash-reactivity toward other dogs. Over a course of weeks we were given an abundance of tools and tips and practice opportunities (a combo of private lessons and board & train and q&a via text) in a fundamentally positive and balanced orientation that works for our particular dog, showing us there is a correct way to correct a behavior and reward his drives. Looking back, we see the difference and it's astounding. From what we hear and our own research on other, well-known, local trainers, that is far from being consistently the case. Make no mistake: It takes effort, and it takes time, but our expectations were professionally managed and always pleasantly surpassed (see photo evidence). The folks at Jackpot are a real joy to work with. Plus, Steph's canine-beautifying skills are in a different league (exhibit b).

I’ve had a great experience with Jackpot K9. They’ve done an amazing job with my dog - not only do they give him plenty of playtime, but they also work on training while he’s there. The staff clearly care about the dogs and put in the effort to keep them engaged and learning. My dog absolutely loves going - he gets so excited that he rushes right into daycare without hesitation. It’s a great feeling knowing he’s happy, well cared for, and thriving.

We did a series of 6 private lessons with our young Dalmatian and are so impressed and thankful with all he has learned and continues to learn. Now he goes to group classes where we continue to apply and expand on his skills and gain confidence around other dogs. We can’t thank Jackpot K9 and Abby enough for helping us learn how to work with him and help him reach his full potential. Pongo loves you guys!!!
