FirstBarkI took two of my dogs to Jane for training at different times. Jane identified ways to address behavioral concerns, which practiced over time produced fantastic results. The change in my reactive rescue dog has been dramatic. I would definitely recommend Jane Trains.

Jane taught me how to be in relationship with Demi and was incredibly patient and knowledgable about what Demi needed to get past her trauma and mistrust in humans. I recommend Jane Trains to anyone wanting a better relationship with their companion pets, and with themselves!

I'm a big fan of Jane's training methods because her very fair approach to dog training has made me a better pet owner. For example, we are going to a hot springs with our two dogs and our camper. At the hot springs, the dogs will be expected to be on leash and stay (quietly!) in the camper when we go to soak. Our dogs are typically not on leash and are often with us 99% of the time. With Jane's guidance, I've been "working" ahead of the trip to helps set us up for a successful trip. I've been walking the dogs every day on leash and I've been leaving them in the camper with the door closed -- first 30 seconds, now up to 15 minutes. I am confident by taking these small steps, we will have an awesome and comfortable journey! Setting your dog(s) up for success is the foundation of what Jane teaches -- it also creates a safe & happy learning environment! Thank you, Jane! Highly recommend.

Jane Gerard is a life changing animal trainer, both for me and my dog. My abused, fearful, anxious, very reactive pup is becoming confident, joyful, trusting and calm. She once wore a muzzle, now she has a harness and walks on a loose lead. All of this happened using only positive reinforcement rather than e-collars, leash jerks, or any other kind of punishment. A Karen Prior certified trainer, she holds additional certifications for aggressive and fearful dogs, but her secret potion is that she has studied how dogs' minds work from the best experts and trains accordingly. Dogs don't think, perceive or process their world like humans do. Who knows how dogs see the world and their environment? Jane. Both you and your pet will be the better for training with her.
