Outstanding Results from JRK9 Dog Training
When we first brought our puppy to JRK9 Dog Training, we were somewhat at our wit's end. Our puppy, despite our on-line training techniques remained undisciplined—house training was not fully complete, walks were exhausting battles of wills, and he had free reign to roam wherever he pleased throughout our home’s first floor. We knew we needed professional help, but we had no idea just how transformative the experience would be.
The results exceeded our expectation. Flash, our Norweigan Elkhound returned to us as a controllable dog. The house training issues were completely resolved. Most remarkably, our daily walks transformed from my wife being yanked into and around the street into genuinely enjoyable experiences. What was became replaced by calm, controlled walks that we actually look forward to.
Perhaps most impressive was watching our dog master the elevated pad training. Where he once wandered freely throughout the house, he now understands boundaries and stays exactly where he should. This level of discipline and self-control seemed impossible during his first 5 months, , yet Joseph and Rebecca made it achievable through their expert methods.
What truly sets JRK9 apart, however, is the human element. Joseph and Rebecca possess not only exceptional technical knowledge about canine behavior and training techniques, but also a genuine warmth and understanding that extends to both dogs and their families. They took the time to build a meaningful connection with our dog while simultaneously educating and supporting us as owners. Their approach is both professional and deeply personal—they clearly understand that successful dog training involves the entire family dynamic.
The bond they established with our dog was evident from day one, and their patient guidance helped us understand how to maintain and reinforce the training at home. They are simply lovely people who bring both expertise and heart to their work. Don’t think that you get off lightly, their program requires study, homework and practice.

One day I was out trying to walk my dog and Joseph was driving by and saw how much I was struggling. He handed me a business card and I am so glad he did. I signed up for the Four Week Foundation & Advanced Combined. By far the best investment for a better quality of life with my dog. Although Russell is still a puppy, with the training and guidance he received the first 30 days while on board, he showed MAJOR improvement. Walks are now a breeze and he is such a well behaved doggy at home now. Thank you so much Joseph and Rebecca for your help. I know we still have a lot more training to go through, but I am ecstatic and extremely thankful.
