K-9 Academy - Tulsa Dog Training

Colt is an 11 month old German shepherd puppy who did not respond well to weekly training sessions and started to become too wild for our liking. I contacted several places for board and train services, but just didn’t feel right about any of them. I then found Dawn with K9 Academy and felt like this was the trainer we needed. I took Colt to K9 Academy just 4 days later and he stayed for 23 days. On pick up day, I was truly amazed at how well behaved Colt was and how well he obeyed commands for Dawn. She spent over an hour with me that day, teaching me how to handle him appropriately and give commands. Colt was stubborn with me at first, but Dawn was so patient and helped me get him to listen to my commands. I brought Colt home that day and we have so much less stress about his behavior because he’s so much better now! He obeys commands quickly and walks right beside me without pulling away. We couldn’t take him on walks before because he was bad about pulling and not listening, but now we are going on multiple walks a day with ease and really enjoying taking him out to places with us. The best part is he is still his same ole goofy self, just much more controlled and disciplined. I am so glad we found K9 Academy! We 100% recommend. You won’t regret taking your pup to Dawn, I promise!
