K-9 Academy - Tulsa Dog Training

Our dog trainer, Dawn, was great with our six year old Labrador / Pointer mix, named Helen. We rescued her in late July from the Humane Society. The dog came from an extremely abusive hoarding environment, and she had difficulty relaxing in the house, yard, and on a leash. After one extended session, Dawn was able to help our dog 'get it'. Now, our dog is able to go in and out of the house on command, relax and enjoy domestic life, and go for walks. Thank you Dawn!

Our dog Zeke went to Dawn for a month for training. He is able to be off a leash when we go anywhere and he listens to our commands no matter what is going on around us. He learned so much and I highly recommend K-9 Academy. The thing i liked most about the training is that Zeke stayed at her home with her and received one-on-one training everyday from Dawn. If he went somewhere else i don't know that the trainer wouldn't be different everyday and that there would be a ton of dogs being trained at the same time. Very happy with result!

I had tried working with other dog training classes with not much success. I have a two year old boston terrier. He was acting up barking and biting at us when we would go to leave the house. Through some simple instructions and proper training techniques - - Mojo (my dog) now pretty much stays at the top of the stairs! He has learned to sit and lie down as well as to be quiet when we need him to be! We no longer have to sneak out - what she taught us works! This was all in only one visit! It was very convenient that she came to my home to work in Mojo's environment. It has been two weeks and he is getting better every day through the techniques k9 academy taught us!

We took our 8 mo labradoodle Oliver to Dawn for the 3 week board and train program. I knew of Dawn's program as she had also trained my sister's dog. We were not disappointed. Before training Oliver was definitely running our house. My children didn't enjoy him as much as he was very jumpy. He is now much more manageable. He will sit, lie down and stay. He is much easier to walk on the leash. We are so thankful for the training he received.
