K-9 Defense

Before we came to K-9 Defence for training, we have searched intensively and spoke to many dog trainers, but no one comes close to what K-9 Defence has to offer. We are so lucky to have found K-9 Defence! Everyone at K-9 Defence is amazing! A special Thank You to Mallory, who is a total miracle worker! She worked with our beloved 8-year old dog Rine for 8 weeks, transformed him from a free range farm dog to a very well behaved, service dog to my husband! In addition to the 8-week long board and train, Mallory also patiently spent five sessions with my husband to train him how to handle our Rine properly. Mallory is so professional, patient, most important of all, she has great knowledge of dogs, she loves and is passionate about what she does! A huge THANK YOU to George and Wes, thank you for your support! We would strongly recommend K-9 Defence to anyone who looks to train their pups! We are grateful for all what you have done for us and for Rine, also we are looking forward to bringing Rine back to you for more maintenance training!

I'm so thankful for K-9 Defense! My Belgian Malinois, Drew, was becoming increasingly aggressive and I was way out of my depth in knowing how to manage it. I was afraid of how he was escalating. I boarded Drew with them and he came back a new dog! Drew 2.0 is calm and confident and completely manageable. Even my kitties are comfortable around him now! I'm still learning the training, but Drew has become a joy to live with again. I highly recommend this company for dogs with aggression issues.

Our family cannot thank K-9 Defense team enough! These are group of amazing professionals who are knowledgeable and cares about dogs and their families. Our Doodle Dart has had bad reactivity, to the point we weren’t able to go on walks. It was a hard decision and a lot of prep work (not feeding him like we used to), but We boarded him for 5 weeks, we having plenty of support of him returning back home and doing our homework, To say that he returned a different dog is understatement. I am forever grateful to Mallory, Wes , Faith for working with him. And George for creating such an amazing organization that helps dogs and their owners to have great quality of life together. Everyone at K9 defense is wonderful! They helped us gain peace of mind and reduced a lot of our stresses caused by our reactive dog Arlo. He is only just turned 2 years old and we couldn’t have people over to our house because we were embarrassed how Arlo reacted to them. We couldn’t bring him for walks or car rides because he would bark viciously at any person or dog he would see. We knew we needed professional help and after a friend recommended K9 Defense we emailed George to set up an evaluation. After our initial meeting with George, he shared our concern with Arlo’s behavior. We needed to prepare him for a board and train and to do that we needed to cut back Arlos food so he would eat food from a stranger. Once we got him there he stayed with Wes for 5 weeks. We got texts, pictures, and videos throughout his stay. When he transitioned back home Wes and George made sure all of our questions were answered and we felt comfortable with everything. We even had a follow up session later in the week to make sure we were all doing okay! Trust the process… and if you have any questions always ask. Everyone is more than willing to answer questions and explain anything you would like clarification on! K9 Defense helped us become more confident in ourselves (and Arlo) and gave us hope when we felt hopeless about our situation. Everyone at K9 Defense is so knowledgeable and passionate about helping dogs and their owners. If you have any dog training needs I could not recommend K9-Defense more!

I'm writing with thanks and appreciation to K-9 Defense. They took our 8-month-old reactive and insecure German Shepherd Ranger and made him such a joy to be around. It's true all dogs can't be made perfect but K-9 Defense returned the very best version of our pup to us. Mallory Fabozzi worked diligently and while firm, she gave him the personalized attention he needed throughout his training to be successful. At the conclusion of Ranger's training Mallory worked with my wife and me until she was convinced, we knew the commands and were in control. Everyone we worked with, met, or talked to at K-9 Defense was first class, accommodating and straight forward. We live in Northern California and on my son's recommendation we brought Ranger to K-9 Defense in Arizona and boy are we glad we did. We would like to personally acknowledge Mallory Fabozzi for the wonderful job she did with Ranger. They made a connection, and I don't think that anyone could have done a better job!
