K-9 Kudos-Permanently Closed

After adopting our sweet 8 week old puppy, our veterinarian recommended starting training with a reputable trainer right away. After lots of research and searching, we found K-9 Kudos and are sure we found the best in the Wichita/Derby area! We have been doing the puppy online course and are blown away with how our puppy is responding. Doreen's course is clear, has plenty of explanation, and has given us confidence in teaching our puppy the correct way. The course has given us better insight on how our dog thinks and enables us to train with positive reinforcement, which was important to us. We've bonded with our pup and are so glad to have access to the online course and are looking forward to meeting in person for group meetings as well! I can't recommend this enough!

K-9 Kudos is amazing! Within a couple of days of adopting our dog, I knew we were going to need a lot of help training him. Doreen’s class was perfect! We enrolled our dog in the level 1 behavior class, and we all learned so much! Doreen does a great job putting together each class, and she makes sure to give each dog plenty of individual attention. If you're looking for a way to train your new furry family member in an environment based on positive reinforcement, you need look no further than Doreen Hardiman at K-9 Kudos in Derby. Obedience classes are very reasonably priced, highly effective and, best of all, very hands-on. Doreen limits her class sizes to insure she's available to all "students" as she also instructs the "student's" humans on how to carry through on training at home. Doreen is a joy and makes training fun for all involved. In fact, my 10 year old son attended the training sessions with me and enjoyed it so much he's pondering aspirations to be a dog trainer as well someday! Give K-9 Kudos a try, you won't be disappointed...and you'll have a well behaved pup, too! :)

How do I start because I really just want to say if your even considering signing up, You Should!! We were recommended to Doreen by two other friends and we debated only because we live in Maize. Best decision we made!! Doreen is amazing this isn’t her job this is her passion. She loves everyone’s dogs like her own and she understands how they think and why they do what they do and most importantly teaches you to understand your pet. Pet ownership is truly what you put into it and Doreen teaches you to achieve that!! A great business, a great person, great results, highly recommended!!!

I brought my Pekingese puppy to Doreen and she helped me tremendously to train him to have manners. My dog, Bear, is a typical energetic puppy. Taking classes with Doreen helped me to teach Bear to sit, come, not jump on people, wait for his food, go to a certain spot, and so much more. I asked her a billion questions every class it seems and she had an experienced answer for everything! I loved her facility, too. Super professional and she always had treats my dog loved.
