K-9's Best Friend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended – Frank is an outstanding dog trainer! I hired Frank from K-9's Best Friend for onsite training sessions at my home for my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Luke, and I’m extremely happy with the results. My sister and I both participated in the sessions, and each week we saw clear, noticeable improvements in everyday walking, overall behavior, and Luke’s ability to listen and respond to commands reliably. What really stands out is Frank’s skill in helping Luke learn specific service dog tasks tailored to my disabilities (post-spinal surgery recovery, mobility limitations, and anxiety support). He was incredibly patient with both me and my dog, adapting the training to my physical needs and explaining everything clearly. Frank has a great way of reading the dog and using positive reinforcement that keeps sessions productive and enjoyable. Luke is making excellent progress toward becoming a reliable psychiatric/service dog, and I credit Frank’s expertise and consistent methods for that. He’s professional, knowledgeable about the breed, and truly cares about the success of both the handler and the dog. If you’re looking for a skilled, patient, and effective dog trainer—especially for service dog work or general obedience—I can’t recommend Frank at K-9's Best Friend enough. Frank is a soft-spoken and calm trainer who uses positive reinforcement (treats!!! and praise) to successfully train. He is patient, understanding, personable and knowledgeable. My pug puppy, Archie, was 7-8 months old when Frank trained him. Archie is super high energy and focuses on everything all at once except the task at hand. Frank was able to get Archie’s attention and hold it for training. Archie learned heel, sit, stay, down, come, and we are working on place (a personal request). Archie is very food motivated which helps, but he is also extremely stubborn, which makes training and all the follow through work, a struggle. Frank trained ME on techniques to use to keep Archie focused. Archie LOVES Mr. Frank and is always excited to see him and learn. I highly recommend Frank for anyone in need of obedience training for their dog. Pictures attached show Frank working with Archie and you can see the connection they have. Priceless!
