Our dog trainer, Daviel, is the nicest person and has a wealth of knowledge about dogs. He is training our husky, Zulu, that we thought was untrainable, to become a service dog. It is a non-treat-based training where you learn to communicate with your dog in a clear and precise way. It is like learning a new language and it creates a strong bond of love and trust between owner and dog. It is like magic once you fully commit to the process. Zulu loves Daviel and is looking forward to our weekly training sessions. It feels empowering to be able to control your dog. And you will have people commenting on how well your dogs behave. I can’t recommend Daviel enough! He has been training my corgi, Buddy, for the past 3 months, and the transformation has been incredible. K9 specialists have now trained 3 of my family’s dogs over the years. I recently finished the advanced off leash program with my dog. He was 8 months old when we started his lessons and had some basic obedience down. We were having a hard time with his training due to impulse control and excessive barking. It started leaning into confidence issues and I was afraid of him developing other behavioral issues such as fear aggression. Our trainer assigned was William and we could not be happier with the results. William helped us create structure and build confidence in our dog. He is now able to go out with us anywhere we go with confidence. He is well socialized and now goes to dog parks, beach days, dog hunting group sessions, and more. We can basically take him anywhere we want on or off leash with full confidence. I would recommend k9 specialists to anyone looking to find a team of trainers that help you have a well socialized and socially adjusted pup. The other plus is the group classes for life! Those group classes really helped us achieve our goal with a controlled environment and guidance from the trainers. I want to share an update to my previous review after our international flight since I feel it deserves even more recognition. We can’t recommend William enough! He did an incredible job training our dog Zeus. The biggest test came when we traveled from Miami to Milan, Italy, a 9-hour international flight that we were honestly nervous about. Thanks to William’s training, Zeus was absolutely amazing throughout the entire trip. He stayed calm, listened to every command, never bothered anyone, and handled the long flight better than we could have imagined. Traveling internationally with a dog can be stressful, but William prepared Zeus so well that the experience was smooth from start to finish. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did for Zeus and would recommend him to anyone looking for outstanding dog training. Thank you again William!
