Highly recommended! Absolutely phenomenal experience with K10. We were nervous about training our dog for the first time, but the entire team at K10 treated him like one of their own. We received updates, and it was clear he was not just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and having fun! Always on site staff, as it's on the owner's property. The results are incredible. The trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and use positive, effective methods that our dog responded to immediately. We've seen a huge improvement in his listening skills and confidence (and ours!). It's so rare to find a place that excels at both boarding and training. K10 gives us complete peace of mind and has given us the tools to have a better-behaved, happier companion.

Draw your own conclusion. I enrolled my one year old male european boxer in the 8 week board and train advanced off leash program. I was told they didn't mind me checking on him but "no news is good news". I waited 3 weeks and reached out to check on him. I was told he was doing great, knew all the commands, was stubborn and gets distracted easily, but would transition to off leash soon. A week later on a Saturday I got a text he was sick and being taken to the vet. Once done at the vet I got a call he had bronchitis and needed to be picked up until he completed his medication and could then return for training. Completely understandable. I asked if there were commands we needed to work on. I was told no because he wouldn't listen to me anyway. He would only listen to them. I kinda thought that was odd but whatever let me go get my sweet boy. I got to the facility and he was standing outside. I saw him and was kinda shocked. I had my boyfriend put him in the truck while I gathered his things and talked to the trainer about his medication. I got in the truck and looked at him again. We were both SHOCKED at his appearance not to mention his smell. The day I dropped him off at training he weighed 75 pounds. A short 31 days later he weighed 59 pounds. His spine and hip bones were showing. He had hair loss and calluses all over the place. He did not have those prior to training. The trainer text me later to check on him and I asked about his lab results and the weight loss. They seemed shocked by this and said labs were fine except his elevated WBC which is typical with bronchitis. It was like they hadn't noticed the weight loss. He was with them 31 days and lost an average of a half a pound a day. How can you not notice at some point?!? The next day they text and said after talking about it with the other trainer they were concerned because of some of his other lab values were off and he lost so much weight. I had decided not to return my boy to them for continued training. They offered to show me the commands he learned once he was over his bronchitis and offered a refund. I respectfully declined taking him to show the commands but accepted the refund (minus the vet costs). I noticed some new and odd things about Ferdinand's behavior. I could not get out of his sight without him panicking. Also, prior to training he would sometimes go in his kennel just to take a nap but now FREAKED OUT when I put him in his kennel. Fast forward to Wednesday and he had a seizure. I got him to the vet within 15 minutes. He was up and acting okay. They drew labs and all were normal except the labs they expect to be off under stress. There is no history of epilepsy in his lineage. The vet said hopefully it is a one off and probably is due go the stress his body has been under. Did I mention between picking him up that Saturday and that following Wednesday he gained 6 pounds... Those are the facts. You can draw your own conclusions. Obviously, I have drawn mine... There are 2 photos attached. One the day before dropping off and the other the day I picked him up. I am sure you can figure out which is which..

My husband and I took his 10 yr old Husky to K10 for work on her constant pulling while walking and her stubborn responses to commands. While she still proves to be a true stubborn Husky to the core she is so much better to work with since she attended the 2 week course at K10. Walking her now has become enjoyable and not a fight. The tips and instructions we were given are working well and we really appreciate the feedback and support. We will also be taking our Shepherd that we just adopted to have training done. We are glad we found K10 and recommend their training courses. Thank you!
