K9.5 Training Academy

We LOVE K9.5! We have an English Cream Golden Retriever, Scout, who just turned a year old. From boarding to grooming to training, we have had the best experience with K9.5 in all areas! Boarding: In October, we boarded our dog for the first time with K9.5. We were nervous to leave her since this was the first time we had ever boarded a dog, but we felt assured right after walking in the door with Scout to drop her off that first time. The calm, clean building and loving staff welcomed Scout right away. She received quality one-on-one attention each day with the techs, and we received pictures and communication daily! Grooming: She was also groomed during her stay, which was another great experience. They listened to exactly what we wanted and got the job done well—even with Scout’s extra-excited puppy energy! Training: We recently completed training with Larry Hopper! We learned so much and feel like we now have the tools we need for better control and strategies to implement with Scout. Larry is very intentional and helpful in his teaching, which made it easier to apply what we were learning. His love for dogs is obvious through his approach—he is definitely a dog whisperer! No matter what we are going to K9.5 for, Scout always perks up and gets excited when we pull into their driveway, which tells us she loves it as much as we do! We are so happy we found K9.5 and appreciate the operation Larry and Missy Hopper have established, providing high-quality, compassionate care for dogs and their families in our community. -Ashlen & Brandon
