K9 Academy is a great place to leave your dog. We use them every time we need to go out of town. We know Grizz is well taken care of. He gets play time with the staff and other dogs. Grizz is really fond of Jenna, but gets excited to the other girls too. In fact, when we bring him he recognizes the area about 3 miles out and gets super excited. He knows where he is going and can't wait to get there.

We are very pleased with how our dog (Shepard / husky) is behaving following training from K9 Academy. Ruth was very protective of her domain, if someone walked up the driveway or even friends into the house we needed to worry about her being aggressive and her anxiety was through the roof. Now she follows commands so well and even this year we actually were able to leave her out during trick-or-treating and she stayed in her place with out issue. Nino and Taylor did a wonderful job working with Ruth and we now also have a place for boarding that we can trust too. Thank you Taylor / Nino and team, excellent work and if we ever get another dog, it'll likely be from you!!

We adopted our dog Murphy when he was 9 months old. He needed to be re-homed from his previous owner. He was a sweet, goofy dog but had not had any formal training and came with some bad manners. It was difficult to take him on walks because he just wanted to bite and play with his leash. He would pick up anything he saw on the road, and it was a fight to get it out of his mouth (rocks, wood chips, bottle caps, trash). Whenever we left him alone in the house, he would destroy something. We knew we needed professional help to train him. We have had many dogs in our lives and have tried many different local training programs. They helped but we were never really satisfied. K9 Academy International was recommended to us by a couple different people so we contacted them. After meeting with them, we were very impressed and decided to enroll our dog. It was really difficult to leave him, but we were allowed to visit him every week. We could tell during the visits that he was very happy, and he never seemed stressed or nervous. It was reassuring each week to see that he was being well cared for. At the end of the training, we received 2 training sessions and then another follow-up training 1 week later. His transformation was amazing. He has now been home for almost a month. I really look forward to walking him each day because he is so well behaved. He hasn't torn up anything in the house. He still has his same sweet, loving personality but now is so well behaved. We have been amazed and are so grateful for Taylor and everyone at K9 Academy International. We highly recommend them.

Taylor and the entire staff at K9 Academy International have been truly extraordinary! My rescue dog, Bohdi, a lab mix was hesitant around new people showing forms of aggression along with anxiety and a low confidence level. He was enrolled in a 10 week training program that did wonders for him! He has become more confident in himself, actively listens to commands, and is less hesitant towards people. Taylor provided Bohdi and myself with the necessary support and guidance we needed for Bohdi’s training to be successful. I am overwhelmingly grateful for everything they have and continue to do for us!
