FirstBarkAwesome! By far the best training facility downriver, hands down walking away. A little bit more expensive than the pet stores but believe me worth EVERY penny! These people are professionals, Highly recommended.

I have a Jack Russell Collie mix and he has been attacked twice once by pit bull once by German Shepherd. He is now exhibiting aggressive behavior. Do you think he would benefit from retraining and socialization with other dogs?
I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer that but if you called them they will call you and I'm most certain they can help you with your dog

I actually took my dog Turkey to this facility a few years ago. He is a Texas Heeler who was adopted and returned twice before we adopted him. He has fear aggression issues and did not have good leash manners even after Petco beginners obedience (which Turkey and I both enjoyed but it didn’t make either of us confident enough in each other). K9 Training Academy was exactly what he needed. Family members comment all the time how he is like a different dog. During our lessons the trainers would correct me to help my dog and I excel, which I appreciated! Thinking of signing up for the beginners class again to brush up so we can join the intermediate or trick class :)
