I came across K9 Avengers when I was trying to save a dog from going to the shelter. Reconnected with them again through wanting to help donate for their rescue dogs. Through that, I enlisted Kevins help with training my girl on her reactivity with dogs and through that was able to adopt one of his rescues. Then I got the amazing chance to foster a medical needs puppy from Kevin. So being a part of every aspect of the rescue at this point I can honestly say that K9 Avengers is a great organization in all aspects. Kevin truly cares about the dogs he takes in. He cares for them as if they were his own. He integrates them into situations that they may have never known or been comfortable with. He allows the dogs to be dogs but builds structure, confidence and trust within the dogs. He is extremely knowledgeable and I will say that he is definitely not for the weak as he is very blunt and not a sugar coat/beat around the bush kind of person. You will always get the truth and sometimes your feelings hurt with it if you are sensitive. The betterment of the dogs is his goal first and foremost, whether it be rescuing or training. Highly recommend.

Adopted two beautiful pups. We attended the 11 week obedience course and got great results. With our hard work and his guidance . Kevin would show us how to do the lesson of the day we would mimic as he observed and corrected if needed. We took what we learned home and practice 24/7. Kevin's committed and knowledgeable and he is all about the dogs. We adopted one dog and Kevin was generous and offered to waive adoption fees for us to get a buddy for our first dog. We took him up on his offer and now have 2 amazing dogs. If you plan on getting a animal from this place make sure you are committed to training and the care of your pup. These animals deserve all of your love.

I had the WORST experience here. The owner Kevin is incredibly unprofessional and, frankly, spiteful. He doesn’t stay committed to his training classes but expects people to be committed to the adoption rules. He was very rude and dismissive, making the whole experience uncomfortable to even keep the dog. It’s clear they don’t value the people that adopt from here and it shows in his behavior. Don’t even bother to request for a refund if he doesn’t follow through with his word he will say he doesn’t have the money. This is just my personal experience, but I wanted to share it so others know what to expect. I truly hope others have a better experience, but based on what I went through, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I also suggest checking Yelp reviews— it appears I’m not the only one with concerns, as multiple people mention he owes them money. It really seems like he’s in this more for the money than for the dogs.
