K9 Capers

I highly recommend K9 Capers! Recon (my boxer baby) attended K9 Capers as a puppy and through his senior years. He was my very first dog and K9 Capers was instrumental in helping properly socialize and train him to be the incredible dog he was. Not only that but Heather was able to give me some training tips as well that were very helpful! Recon absolutely loved his school family and days spent there. I wouldn't consider bringing any of my future dogs elsewhere as K9 Capers has my complete trust and confidence. Thank you to Heather and the staff for helping to give Recon some of his favorite fun-filled days!

We have been taking our Golden Maverick to K9 Capers for over 5 years! In their programming we have found the perfect balance of fun, training, and appropriate socialization with other dogs that we were looking for for him. I’m very happy that they have a strict screening program as this gives us the peace of mind that Maverick is safe when he goes there. Most of all it’s nice to see how excited he gets when he see’s where he is when we pull up to the building!

Both of my dogs attended K9 Capers when they were young adolescents. I was always impressed with the peaceful atmosphere when I came to pick them up. Heather especially helped one of my dogs who was struggling with impulse control issues and his behavior improved immensely during his time there. My dogs loved it there and I was really happy with how the staff took extra time to work on their manners.

My Lily loves going to K9Capers. She has been going since she was only three months old. Heather and her workers have been instrumental in reinforcing the training I have and still do with Lily. I now have a new puppy and Heather won't take her. She didn't even want to see her. I asked her why and she thoroughly explained why and I understand it. Although I am sad, but at the same time it also gives Lily some 'away from' the puppy time. And Heather has answered all the questions I have asked in regarding raising this puppy to keep her from her inherited tendencies. Ruby is a happy go lucky dog with Lily's help and Heather's advice.
