K9 Changes Dog Training

Joey is awesome! Very kind, helpful, and loves the dogs. We brought a stubborn (but very smart) Australian Shepherd puppy to Joey for his day sessions (6 sessions) and it made a night and day difference. Joey is great with her and she loves him, which brought us some peace of mind leaving her there. He worked with her during the day sessions and then held lessons with us when we picked her up, where we’d go over what he worked with her on that day and answered any questions we came up with. He’s very knowledgeable and understands dogs well, and helped us understand what to do or not do in our training and setting/maintaining boundaries. We’re well on our way to a polite, well-trained dog already at only 4 months of age, thanks to Joey’s help! She now loves to walk with us on a leash (she just wanted to pull us around and go wherever she wanted before), she knows her commands, and knows how to settle herself down a little bit when she needs it. I would absolutely recommend K9 changes and am very pleased with our results and especially with Joey’s teaching us how to make it stick.

We don't have enough good things to say about Joey and his team! Truly! Our dog was a rescue who was clearly abused, and he had a lot of reactivity and some aggression issues. We sent him to a 6-week Board and Train and Archie came back a transformed dog. So much calmer, knew how to self-soothe, was a better walker, etc. Joey also helped us make sure the training stuck by teaching us how to work with Archie and we had follow up lessons for a month after the Board and Train to make sure we (and our dog) were doing what we needed to do to keep our dog calm and well behaved. Communication is easy - Joey and the team always respond quickly and make scheduling simple. We also use K9 Changes' boarding and Archie loves it!!! Again, so easy to schedule and the best boarding available for our dog. Highly, highly recommend Joey and the K9 Changes team for any training and boarding needs.
