We chose to have Sonny’s training done at home and it was exactly what you would expect from a professional trainer. I priced a few recommended trainers in my area and none are cheap. But, as the old saying goes. You get what you pay for. Thank you Marcus. Job well done.
Marcus was fantastic! He not only helped give our dog the basic she needs for all training but he taught us how to better interact with her and how to keep training her in our own time!
Marcus is a top notch trainer. I’m still shocked how far our dog has come in a short amount of time. I can’t recommend him enough.

Long story short: If you are looking for an amazing dog trainer- you will not regret choosing K9 Citizens Club! We are so thankful for Marcus and the training we received! He is truly an expert at what he does! Backstory: Our 13 year old lab mix, Monty, had protective aggression issues that were increasing and becoming dangerous. We tried everything we knew, watched dog training videos and shows and nothing seemed to make a dent. It got to the point that we were uncomfortable with people coming over to our house for fear of him biting someone. Our experience: I called to get information and Kim was so informative, helpful and caring on understanding our dog’s specific needs. We signed up for the 6 session package and we are so glad we did! We saw results with every single session! Marcus is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He gave us informational and practical tools to use for every situation we faced. Don’t only did we address the aggressive behavior, but we also tackled obedience issues, counter surfing, leash pulling, and so much more. Marcus also used his dog Ninja to help us with positive exposure to other dogs. Monty couldn’t even see another dog walking without barking aggressively. In the end, Monty could do tricks and sit right by Ninja without a problem. By the last session we were also able to take our dog through the aisles of Lowe’s walking by people and loud carts. Not only was Monty not barking or lunging, but he walked through the aisles relaxed and with a huge dog-smile on his face. We couldn’t have anticipated the incredible transformation we received with 6 sessions! We are forever grateful to Marcus and K9 Citizens Club.
