I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my dog in a training program with K9 Citizens Club, and I can't express how thrilled I am with the results! From the very first session, there were immediate changes that positively impacted both my dog and me. The trainer was incredibly professional, demonstrating a deep knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. He took the time to understand my dog's unique personality and tailored the training approach accordingly. With his guidance, we can now walk confidently in the park and visit pet-friendly establishments without any issues. It's amazing to see how much progress we've made in such a short time. I have owner trained my service dog with assistance from trainers up until the past month or 2 when I decided to reach out to Marcus and ask for some help task training and improving public access skills- he is the only trainer that was able to offer me affordable training and allow me to make payments throughout the time that I’ve been training with him! The training we have done here has given me more accessibility with my service dog who can now function better in certain environments she wasn’t as confident in previously! I am incredibly grateful for the training we have done over the past 2 months!

My rescue dog Panchey had fear-based leash reactivity and was barking and lunging at people, other dogs, big loud trucks, and anything that rolls on wheels. I was given a lease violation from my apartment complex and was in danger of having Panchey removed. They labeled him as "aggressive, out-of-control." Now, you're probably picturing a huge threatening dog...nope. He's a 25 lb. mix, with an unfortunate, big, underbite-that, combined with his barking and lunging, terrified others. I was desperate and thankfully found K9 Citizens Club ad on Facebook. After just 2 training sessions with owner/trainer Marcus, Panchey is calmer, more confident, and less reactive. He no longer barks at or goes after other dogs, people, or rolling things. By our 3rd session, Panchey now completely ignores loud noisy lawnmowers, leafblowers, and yard men. He just lays relaxed and chills. It's nothing short of miraculous!! Marcus gives you, the dog owner, tools and helpful tips, notes, and principles to follow. You MUST follow them AND do the homework as training your dog is an ongoing process--He gives you the firm foundation on which to continue to build the best outcome and relationship with your dog. After just the 2nd session, other people were commenting on the noticed improvement in Panchey's behavior. I feel so much better; I'm less anxious and more confident in how to handle him. I HIGHLY recommend Marcus at K9 Citizens Club-he is absolutely superb at training. He's polite, prompt, and VERY patient. I think dog owners are probably harder to train than the actual dogs are! I am so grateful to have found K9 Citizens Club-it saved both me and my dog. Again, you'll be amazed at the massive improvements in your dogs behaviors--its a pure JOY to observe and participate in. We got Jackson as a rescue dog and from the day we brought him home our 8 year old was terrified of him. He is an 80lb puppy and he would jump and bark and grab at your feet with his mouth. He really had some work needing to be done and we didn't know where to start. After calling K9 citizens club and working with Marcus we not only learned that Jackson needed some training but we did as well. Marcus gave us the knowledge we needed to teach Jackson and to build a strong bond with him. It's been 2 months and the difference is night and day with this puppy.
