K9 Command

I started with K9 Command after completing a AKC STAR puppy course at my local kennel club with my six month old German Shepherd, Onyx. Which to put nicely, was a total disaster. I was at a complete loss with what to do with my girl as she was very vocal and reactive to everyone/thing around her. And she was my first Shepherd and the whole dynamic of the breed was new to me. I met with Mark who instantly put me at ease about training her and helping to build her confidence (and mine) in new situations. We did private lessons and by the time we left - Onyx was a million times better. She’s still vocal and it’s still a work in progress (isn’t that the whole point of getting a dog to train?!) three months later but we were able to go through Home Depot without major incident last weekend! So do I recommend K9 Command? Hell. Yes.

Mark and family are great trainers. I’ve been following his post and videos for years. I am a trainer also, but I haven’t been training as long as he has, and because of this, I often times message him for advice. He is so friendly and quick to respond. All of this for someone that could be viewed as competition. That speaks to the type of guy he is and speaks very highly of the reputation he has developed.
