I was that dog owner whose dog would act up in the park - lunging and pulling - with people asking me…. Who is walking who? I wanted to be able to take her to dog friendly venues and restaurants but her reactivity was always an issue. Denise was hands down the best thing to happen to both of us. Not only did she train my pup, but she also trained me - how - to train my pup. After just 5 training sessions and homework, my pup is no longer the instigator at the park! If you’re looking for a professional dog trainer - look no further! I couldn’t be more satisfied. Update! 09/05/2026 Simply the best! In April, Anna went back for refresher training and in August she trained our newest pack member - Drax. Once again, Denise did a phenomenal job of training him the basics and real world exposure. As a bonus she brought them together to show me how Anna and Drax can actually be walked TOGETHER - successfully. I can’t begin to express my appreciation for creating a foundation for me to build on with both pups. She makes it look so easy…I’m sure with practice and reinforcement of her training - they might continue to behave just as well for me!

I highly recommend this place for training ur dog! Denise was absolutely wonderful to work with and we got better results with our pup then we had even hoped for! From the daily videos she takes during training and the super cute photos I really felt like I was part of the whole process and that my dog was actually having fun too! Denise makes the whole process so simple and easy i can honestly say I am going to miss it! I will definitely be going back in the future for my other pets!

When Charlie started training, my husband and I were struggling with leash pulling, stopping on walks, and building his confidence. We knew he was a great dog—we just needed the right guidance. We took our Dog to K9 Compass for training as we needed clear and specific ways to manage our pup and have a better home structure- our puggle is wild!! Denise is so knowledgeable and not only trains the dog, but also educates the owners and does it in real time too. Her program is 6 days long and intensive to be sure of good carryover. She is passionate and gets good rapport with the dogs. Our puggle looked forward to seeing her everyday! We are so grateful for her training and the changes we see in our dog at home, and also for the eduction she provided us to be able to carry over in our home environment. I wasn’t sure anyone could teach our Teddy manners, but she nailed it and we were so impressed!! She has such a talent with doggies!! Thank you!! It’s the best thing we could have done for our dog and our family!
