I meet Bob Gailey in 2001, as well as some German Shepherds that he had for sale that he trained. I was very impressed that they have great personalities, not over excited when somebody came to visit, but a controlle watch. When some other canine trainers facilities that I have visited the dogs were out of control, far from the home of the trainer, just unruly barking and acting aggressive in their Kennels. From that time I had several visits to his training groups and saw that he was a real true canine Handler and he did Gentle Corrections and had patience with the dogs he was training. So just to say we have been in touch ever since then and I have referred several of my families that wanted training or extra training with their German Shepherd puppies/dogs that they get from me. 😉. bob is the best k9 trainer i have run across in my 25 years in law enforcement. not every technique works for every dog. bob designs a training program to fit your particular dog. I have always owned german shepherds and have been able to train them myself. dogs are like people though and every once in a while you run across a problem child. bob trains you on how to train your dog. 99 pct of the time its not the dog its the owner. bob is able to fix those problems very quickly. dogs that are problem children, bob is able to teach the owner how to use advanced techniques to deal with the 1 pct problem dog.. he was able to show me techniques and training methods i had never thought of. thats where his mastery of dog psychology comes in. anyone can teach a dog to learn a trick or obey. it takes a true professional to be able to change a dogs behavior and its way of thinking.in just two sessions bob was able to adjust my dogs way of thinking and show me the proper techniques to use at home to change my dogs aggressive behavior 180 degrees.

Bob Gailey is an extraordinary dog trainer. We have been customers of K9 counselor and Bob for the better part of two years. We live in Seminole County and have a five-year-old male (and temperamental) Chow Chow (Grizz) that has a progressive case of fear aggression since we brought him home as a puppy. A bit of backstory is that we had used at least five different “professional” services in the greater Orlando area. None of them worked. None of them really wanted to work with our pup. They were more than willing to take our money but provided little to no guidance and some had absolutely no background in handling dogs much less dogs with obedience issues. Then we found Bob and K9 Counselor. Bob comes to our home once every month and has worked on building trust with Grizz and in the process, has built trust with us. Grizz even stays (boards) with Bob and his family from time to time. Bob has handled and trained elite dogs, problematic dogs, aggressive dogs, of all shades and stripes for the military, police force, civilians and everyone in between. He has done so for decades. If you want someone to work with your dog who is credible- you need not look further than Mr. Bob Gailey. Additionally, Bob is trustworthy, hands on, and makes it his mission to get your family and your dog the results you desire. Bottom line is – he knows what he is doing and he cares.
