We did research. We were at a point with our dog where we were either going to have to get him trained, or put him down. We had an initial meeting at this facility, and we had the pleasure of meeting with Alex. She was very welcoming and explained the program. After our dog Gizmo was there for two weeks. I could tell he was forming a bond with the Trainer, which I thought was really cool. That meant they had been spending a lot of time together to form that bond. The results have been wonderful. Gizmo has been home for just about one week now. And I take him for walks, and he stays right by my side. Zero pulling, always healing, sits, lays down, knows his place, it was definitely worth the investment. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they are happy to report back on the progress of your dog. Alex was exceptional! I have no reservations about recommending this facility for your dog. If you love your dog, it isn’t going to be cheap to get them trained correctly. If you want that investment of training. I would recommend this facility.

Have learned a lot from the staff at k9. What do you want to get out of training? They got you. We did 1on1 training with our first pup and swim classes and daycare. I didnt realize not all dogs can swim. now she loves the water and can swim with ease. Daycare here is more than that. The pups get some grest exposure and training while there. We are back with a 2nd pup and are doing group classes and will also do swim classes again. If I could only explain how this pup reacted to other dogs and his insecurities and how he is now, I dont think people would believe me. We continue to look forward to the next progress with our 2nd pup and have enjoyed our first pup on family outings, camping, boating, hiking, fishing, lunch outdoors at a restaurant and more.

Brought in my deaf, 7 year old pit pull mix with a history of aggression and no formal training for K9’s board and train. Really put them to the test with my boy.. and they did a fantastic job. The head trainer Alex was best friends with him by the time we picked him up and he learned a lot of very valuable skills while he was there. His aggression is way down and, with the help of a vibrate/shock collar, I feel like we are finally able to communicate with him while we’re on walks, at home, or are around other people. I can tell our dog understands us more and he’s gained a lot of confidence especially if other people or dogs are around, he know he doesn’t have to be on edge all the time. One thing I’d like to point out - our dog would get scared and aggressive if people waived their hands in the air and Alex turned this motion into the “release” command. Our dog understand this means he can run around and “be a dog” as she put it. I was very impressed she came up with that idea to turn something that triggered his aggression into a signal to him meaning you can let your guard down and have fun. We’re going to sign our other dog up for their group classes and bring our deaf boy along as well to get more socialized. Would highly recommend K9 Devlopment if you’re looking to get your dog trained and they have daycare boarding in the case you’re traveling.

We love k9. This was our 1st experience working with a trainer. I learned so much about dogs in general and to learn about my dog. The tools I gained, im able to use day to day. We have adopted a new pup 8 years later and have comeback. We are able to apply what we learned and again learning more as our new pup is vary different than our 1st. Our 1st pup learned to socialize appropriately with other dogs and animals. Looking forward to see the progression with the new pup. Highly recommend. And don't forget about their swim lessons in the summer. Our first dog couldn't swim too well and wasnt 100% sure about water, she loves to swim now! Amy, Jack, and Alex are all great that we have had the experience to work with. And any other staff member we have encountered have been helpful, patient and nice.
