K9 Driven Chicago

Our dog Max was reactive to strangers making it impossible to have guests over, he counter surfed whenever we had food out and would react aggressively whenever we got close to him, and he would pull on the leash and react to other dogs when we were out on walks. Cesar addressed all of these behaviors with Max and now Max is a completely new dog. We are able to correct Max when he is being disobedient, we are able to have guests over, he no longer resource guards, and we are able to enjoy walks with him. Max has been nothing but calm and loving for the past few months since Cesar helped us. We are forever grateful for Cesar's help and the work he did with Max.

Layla is awesome! Ran into some speed bumps with my dog and different methods as he hit his teen months. Layla was kind, patient and understanding in addition to always being available despite me being in Canada and her being in the US. She was always available for a FaceTime call to help walk me through things and help me overcome some roadblocks with a very strong willed teenager. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting in person or virtual dog training.

K9 Driven Chicago really knows their stuff. I worked with Layla to help our German Shepherd Dog learn to be around other people. We were able to finally get him outside and walk him again. I want to say that it was our dog that got the training but it was really, mostly me. I learned a lot about my dog and I understand more about how to communicate with him and how he reads me and my actions. Layla did a really great job and we plan on working with her for future goals.

Owning not 1 but 2 bully breed dogs is definitely not for the faint-hearted!! Having previously lived in a rural area and then moving to the suburbs was a major change for my 2 boys and I. After many failed attempts to find a dog trainer to work with in the Northwest suburbs, I finally found K9 Driven Chicago which was willing to go further out of the Chicago area to work with me and my boys. We had the opportunity to work with Layla who was patient and encouraging throughout the entire 8 sessions. She provided so much knowledge and methods as well as the right tools to help address the issues of lease pulling, excessive barking, dog reactivity, and bad house manners. I am so thankful for the experience of working with K9 Driven Chicago and Layla. Although we have finished the training sessions, the boys and I have taken everything we have learned and we continue to work towards new goals. (Last week, we set foot inside Lowe’s for the first time and I think we absolutely crushed it!) I would highly recommend K9 Driven Chicago, Cesar, and Layla for anyone who currently finds themselves at wit’s end trying to fix their dog's bad habits/behaviors. Benny is a huge lover and cuddler but has been overly reactive to other dogs, on or off leash. To the point that it was difficult to take him on walks. Today though, after six sessions with Cesar, Benny graduated, walking side-by-side with two "strangers" without reacting or losing it. He even sniffed and play-bowed with the other dogs. Light years beyond where we thought we could get him. It's by no means perfect and we'll need to keep at it with him, but Cesar trained us as much as Benny on how to help our boy be his better pup.
