Thank you for the review Pam! Working with Rocky was a lot of fun and it’s cool to see how far he’s come. He really hit his stride on that second week. His new skills are right on point and even cooler is the fact that I was able to address those problematic behaviors; being reactive to everything. I know it was stressing you out and just a pain to have to deal with all the time. He now has a job to do! He’s still a loving family member but now he’s also a working family member. Dogs want a sense of purpose & he knows what he’s supposed to be doing now. Now that he’s under Obedience Control he’s cool to hang out with! Now you know what to do as well. Part of my job is to make you a better handler and you did great at the go home lesson. You have those other two lessons when you need them and I’ll always be there to help for the rest of Rocky‘s life. Go Rocky!

Thank you so much for the heartfelt review Liana. Training Gus was a lot of fun, and I love a dog who can make me laugh with their personality. Gus fears nothing and is the consummate “Curious George.” It is a beautiful thing when you see a hound with sharp Basic Obedience. All dogs are trainable; hounds can be a challenge, but I love any challenge. Gus earned and made the grade! I want to tip my hat to you too in that as soon as you took on a new dog, you immediately got him in proper dog training after doing research. You followed directions, put in the work at home, and were engaged in the process, which is excellent. You are well ahead of the game in this new adventure on life’s journey with a new dog. Gus is going to have an awesome life with you.

Thanks for the kind review Heather. It was my pleasure training Dolly, what a sweet dog! I’m so happy that you & your dad now have a dog that’s not just a sweetheart; but a dog under obedience control that’s not pulling like crazy and now heeling nicely! She hit the mark and her Basic Obedience is outstanding. My favorite thing about her is how much I got her to improve her speed in Recall; you could see she took pride in that too. Goes to show; there are so many great dogs at a shelter that may seem like too much dog, when all they really need is a brick house foundation of Basic Obedience. A dog like Dolly who had the strength to pull a golf cart loaded with bricks; and now she can go on a walk or outing with someone who has limited mobility who doesn’t have to worry about being pulled down off his feet. It’s a beautiful thing. I’m so excited for her future adventures; she’s gonna have an awesome life.

Thank you so much for the nice review Kristin! Watching them progress with their skills and the before & after comparison is hugely rewarding to see. Finley is the perfect dog for Nori; his goofball energy is just what she needs to ease some of her nervousness. They really do complement each other. The coolest to behold was when we did outings and watching them use their new skills. They looked so refined & confident. There was no longer any reactivity in Nori or Finley; they knocked it out of the park! Nori was outstanding in dealing with environmentals on the outings; she anchored into her obedience skills and was able to handle loud noises, distractions, all kinds of things. I also have to take my hat off to you for making the investment and doing all you can to get the right training for both of them. I picture you all enjoying that beach life with Nori & Finley running along the shore with their off-leash freedom well earned from training.

Your review made my day, thank you Lia! Working with Elodie was a lot of fun. She’s got lots of drive and a happy-go-lucky attitude to work. I enjoyed shaping that puppy energy into skills she can anchor & take confidence in. I’m really happy with how much my personal dogs and I improved her skills in communicating with other dogs & she became excellent at reading clearly set boundaries which is great for a young dog. Another thing I’m really happy with is her improvement with Environmental Stability. She got better as we did more and more outings in a smart, planned out way. I’m excited for the two of you & your future adventures!
