K9 Guidance

Best place to take your pup or adult dog to train. We always get compliments on how well behaved our dog is and that's thanks to Lu and the puppy classes. We took our Irish terrier there as a puppy and the breed is known to be tougher to train and butt heads with other breeds. Thanks to the classes and Lu's experience, our dog is good with other breeds and obedient. With these classes we learned that it was for Us to get to know our dog and how their thought process works. The pricing is generous considering what's included and our dog loved Lu. Lu, if I could put more than 5 stars I would, thank you!

Luis at K9 Guidance is fantastic! He really understands the dogs and has trained us in on how to work with our dogs. There is so much to learn and each week we continue to learn more. Luis is patient with us and explains everything very well and in detail and provides us with corrections to implement in how we handle our dogs. The sessions are never repetitive nor is the entire class spent focusing on one thing. The variety keeps both us and the dogs engaged. We have a 4 year old German Shepherd and added a German shepherd puppy a few months back. We started our puppy in Luis group puppy class. His behavior within a week was better than our 4 year old which led us to doing training sessions for both dogs. Our 4 year old is reactive and within the first session he had her focused on and not the other dog. Luis has taught us the value of consistency, the benefit of showing leadership and the importance of rewarding for positive behaviors. We have been to a few trainers over the years but have not seen the improvement and gave up on our 4 year old being able to tolerate other dogs. Instead we just adjusted our lives around our dog’s behavior and avoided interacting with other dogs. With K9 Guidance we have learned how to adjust and correct the unpleasant behavior versus our lifestyle. Both dogs are extremely excited as soon as we get to training as they love the stimulation. I would give K9 Guidance 10 stars but Google only allows a max of 5. Thank you K9 Guidance!
