K9 Heeling

We can’t say enough amazing things about K9 Heeling and the transformation we’ve seen in Izzy! Our journey started in 2022, with their 4-week Board & Train program which gave her such a strong foundation in obedience, structure, and confidence. The trainers were patient, knowledgeable, and truly cared about helping her succeed while also teaching us how to continue reinforcing everything at home. One of the biggest ongoing benefits has been her weekly DayPlay sessions. Izzy has become noticeably more confident, social, and comfortable in new situations. She comes home happy, mentally stimulated, and relaxed every single time. It’s been incredible watching her personality blossom and seeing how much her confidence level has grown. Izzy looks forward to her DayPlay each week with her furry friends and her human friends! And we love that we get a report card to let us know how her day went and the reinforcement/ enrichment activities that were focused on. I can’t say enough wonderful things about K9 Heeling and especially Sam W, who is an amazing trainer! I recently worked with her on training my dog Oreo, who was definitely one of my more challenging pups. Since he didn’t receive formal training early on, I was worried it would be a difficult process—but Sam proved me wrong in the best way possible. She was patient, knowledgeable, calm, and incredibly skilled in how she worked with him. Oreo has made such great progress. He is learning, becoming more responsive, and is much easier to redirect now. It’s clear Sam truly understands dogs and knows how to bring out the best in them. Beyond training, K9 Heeling has also been a trusted daycare for all three of my dogs and they always receive great care. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are in such capable and caring hands. Absolutely amazed of the results and care that I and Arcann received from them. They stated that historically people have told them that "he/she is a different dog" and I agree with that sentiment. The play, love, and care is all still there, but now with structure and boundaries and I didn't think a one year old husky was capable of. I cannot recommend them enough and have pushed my friends to them on their next longer travels for their board and learn program. A++++
